WordCamp London 2016 took place in the London Metropolitan University, Holloway Road from April 8th – 10th.
Unfortunately I was not able to make it to the Contributor Day on the Friday, due to not being able to travel earlier than that evening, because of work commitments. And even though my travel over to London was filled with delays, it still did not take away from the enjoyment of finally being able to attend my first WordCamp.
Not only was this my first WordCamp, I was also doing my part (all be it very small) to help out. I volunteered as photographer for the weekend, and while it was tiring, it was very enjoyable.
If you use WordPress, as a blogger, designer, developer or as a business owner that wants to know how to have more control of your site, I urge you to go along to the next WordCamp that is in your area. Also be sure to check for WordPress Meetup Groups in your area on Meetup.com
