WP Site Maintenance

As a WordPress Specialist, MacGraphic offers WP site maintenance. This is perfect for clients who wish to protect their investment and integrity of their website’s security.

Just as we include testing in the development stage of the sites we build. We also offer testing when new updates are available for our clients’ sites. WordPress is a dynamic and constantly developing platform; feature and security updates are essential to keep your site up to date and safe.

Test updates before applying them

However, occasionally these updates can break a site, and they should be tested before applying to any live site. When your website goes down, so does your business. MacGraphic makes sure that doesn’t happen to you!

Our WP Site Maintenance process

Once a WordPress site maintenance tailored package is agreed for your site, we create a clone of your site for testing available updates.

We then run tests on all available updates for the site on the offline ‘cloned’ version of your site.
The tests include checks for security and compatibility. We only apply the updates to the live site once we are satisfied that they will not cause any issues or errors.
Should we find that, for example a plugin update might cause problems, we will firstly report the issue to the plugin developer. We will then work with the developer on your behalf to ensure complete compatibility before we even consider applying it to your live site.

At every stage of the testing process, we keep a securely stored back-up of your site.

All in all, this ensures your site is up to date on all features, secure and safe for your site visitors to use. Leaving you more time to run your business and take advantage of all those extra leads.

A poorly maintained site will be off-putting to both your potential clients and search engines. Keep your site in tip-top condition with our WordPress site maintenance packages.
